Pre-Course (February 4, 2026)

Following the success of the Pre-Course 2023, we are proud to offer it again in 2026.
The goal of the Pre-Course is to provide the necessary foundationfor understanding the pathomorphologies of the hip that lead to osteoarthritis.
The Pre-Course offers a concise overview of the most important findings in joint-preserving hip surgery – for daily practice, as preparation for the specialist examination, or simply as an introduction to the subsequent hip symposium. It is very practice-oriented, with patient demonstrations of typical findings, a systematic analysis of pelvic x-rays, and an introduction to reading MRI findings. In addition, the relevant anatomy of the hip is demonstrated using real specimens. Participants are provided with a treatment algorithm, which allows for the discussion of specific cases in a relaxed atmosphere.

The Pre-Course is limited to 130 participants.
